The first thing I’d like to point out here is that giving up control–in whatever way you choose–can be very freeing for people who are usually the ones in control in their regular lives. It is, as I said above, very freeing.
Unfortunately for everyone, I’m currently nursing an injury. So I can’t do full-on workouts with my trainer right now. And I’m suffering for it in a way because I find I’m much better off mentally if I have that release of working out with my trainer.
But, as they say, this, too, shall pass. Even if it passes like a kidney stone!
